Business Development Director
đ Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days per week at the London Wall Office, Tuesdays and Thursdays) âď¸ Note: This role requires regular travel to meet clients & partners in person.

About the Role
As Business Development Director, youâll spearhead efforts to win new business across the Nordic region (Sweden, Norway, Iceland). Key responsibilities include:

- Leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, engaging directly with C-suite executives.
- Own the full sales cycle: From proactive prospecting to new logo acquisition, prioritising growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute proactive prospecting and close opportunities via 10+ face-to-face meetings/month.
- Use MEDDPICC framework and the Value Pyramid to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Solution Consulting, and Technical teams to close deals.
- Develop & execute a strategic territory plan to drive long-term growth.
- Align cross team efforts with marketing, regulators, and external partners.
- Close cross-sell opportunities with account management teams.
- Optimise tools like Gong & Lusha for prospecting, deal tracking, and execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years in business development or enterprise solution sales, ideally in:
- Financial crime
- Fraud, identity or compliance
- Fluent English required; Nordic language skills considered advantageous.
- Proven ability to exceed ACV targets in complex solution-based sales environments.
- Strong MEDDPICC expertise; managed deals with multi-stakeholders.
- Previous experience in banking, fintech or regtech.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
