About the Company

A global Fintech that has been in the UK for some time. This is one of the market leading providers within its field, offering tailored Invoice Finance solutions into the SME market.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Business Development Director to drive the commercial growth across the UK. Operating on a remote, UK-wide basis, you will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and deploying Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending solutions to small, medium-sized, and corporate enterprises (SMEs). The successful candidate will possess an extensive, pre-existing professional network of active introducers and a proven track record of securing new business via intermediaries into the Invoice Finance sector.

Responsibilities

  • Origination & Growth: Identify and secure new Invoice Finance opportunities across the UK, managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle from initial lead generation to ultimate facility payout and onboarding.
  • Network Management: Cultivate, maintain, and systematically expand a robust network of commercial intermediaries, including finance brokers, accountants, corporate finance advisors, insolvency practitioners, and commercial solicitors.
  • Deal Structuring: Assess client working capital needs, review financial statements/debtor ledgers, and expertly structure bespoke factoring and invoice discounting facilities to meet client needs while managing risk.
  • Credit Collaboration: Write comprehensive new business proposals and work closely with internal risk and credit committees to ensure seamless, compliant, and prompt deal sanctions.
  • Market Presence: Act as a senior brand ambassador at regional and national industry networking events, maintaining high market visibility across the UK asset-finance sector.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
