Business Development Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and driven self-employed Business Development Executive to join Crimson Digital as we continue to grow. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients across a range of industries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a natural ability to connect with people, and the confidence to work independently. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your income while contributing directly to the success of a fast-moving digital agency.
Please note: This is a self-employed, commission-only position. You will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance contributions. You are free to work other roles alongside this one.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, and face-to-face outreach
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to present Crimson Digital's services and demonstrate value effectively
- Negotiate terms of agreements, ensuring a positive outcome for both the client and the business
- Work closely with the Crimson team on proposals and attend closing meetings with prospects
- Maintain records of client interactions, sales activity, and pipeline status
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and resolve any client issues efficiently

Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales role — retail, hospitality, door-to-door, or B2B sales are all relevant backgrounds
- B2B or business development experience is a plus but not essential — we will provide full training
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Confident presenting to and engaging with business owners and decision-makers
- Good time management and the ability to work independently and stay motivated
- Professional, honest, and reliable in every client interaction
- No background in digital marketing or software required — we will train you on everything

Earning Potential
- Realistic full-time earnings of £30,000–£60,000+ per year, with uncapped potential beyond that.
- Clients 1–5 per month: 20% commission per sale
- Client 6 onwards in the same month: 30% commission per sale
- Recurring income: 10% of retainer value every month the client stays active
- Your recurring income compounds over time. Close consistent clients and your monthly earnings grow even without new sales.
Growth Potential
This role starts as self-employed and commission-only, but we are building something long-term. Representatives who perform consistently and demonstrate the right attitude will be considered for a permanent, salaried position within the Crimson Digital team as the agency grows. This is a genuine opportunity to grow with us from the ground floor.
