We are seeking a Business Development Executive to manage new business enquiries from Aldermore brokers. This role is key to supporting our balance sheet growth objectives.
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service across all customer and broker interactions, ensuring an efficient end-to-end process. You will maintain high standards at every touchpoint, providing clear, professional, and effective communication throughout.
The position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.
To act as an ambassador of the Bank’s vision to; Back more people to go for it in life and in business.
What will your day look like?
- Manage new business enquiries from Aldermore intermediaries, prospective, and existing brokers via the New Business line, Platinum line, and National Mailbox.
- Support brokers by reviewing DIP declines and providing guidance to progress applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert on policy and process requirements to ensure an efficient application process.
- Provide technical assistance to the team and brokers for submitting DIPs and applications.
- Work within the Property Department to achieve key targets and objectives.
- Support wider department and business teams through administrative tasks and up-skilling initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
- Resolve queries effectively and accurately, ensuring a “right first time” approach to reduce turnaround times and delays.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing better ways of working while mitigating potential business and external risks.

What do we expect from you?
- Strong customer service focus with a professional and proactive approach.
- Excellent organisational, communication, numerical, and analytical skills.
- Proven team player with experience working in dynamic teams and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Confidence in managing brokers in challenging situations.
- Experience working within a regulated, banking, or financial services environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems.
