Business Development Executive

Cazimi Intelligence & Security is looking for a driven Business Development Executive to help us generate new business and build our commercial pipeline.

We are an early-stage intelligence and security company using drone, satellite and open-source intelligence to help organisations better understand their sites, vulnerabilities and security risks.

This is a flexible, contractor-based opportunity for somebody who wants more ownership than they would typically get in a traditional sales role.

The opportunity

You will work directly with the Founder and take ownership of outbound business development.

Your focus will be simple: identify the right organisations, start conversations, build relationships and create opportunities for Cazimi.

You will not be joining an established sales team with a fixed script or inherited pipeline. You will have the opportunity to help shape how we approach new sectors, build our pipeline and grow the business from an early stage.

For the right person, there is significant scope for the role to grow alongside the company.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identifying prospective clients and target organisations
  • Building and managing outbound lead generation activity
  • Contacting decision-makers through LinkedIn, email, telephone and other appropriate channels
  • Starting conversations with potential clients and understanding their requirements
  • Developing and maintaining a structured sales pipeline
  • Following up opportunities consistently and professionally
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Identifying new sectors, partnerships and commercial opportunities
  • Working directly with the Founder on proposals and opportunities requiring specialist input
  • Tracking outreach, conversions and commercial performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have around 1 to 3 years’ experience in sales, business development, lead generation or a similar commercial role.

More important than a specific background is your ability to communicate confidently, create opportunities and take ownership of your work.

You should be:

  • Confident approaching new organisations and decision-makers
  • Comfortable with outbound sales and prospecting
  • Able to build rapport quickly and professionally
  • Persistent without being overly sales-driven
  • Commercially aware and naturally proactive
  • Organised in managing leads, follow-ups and opportunities
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Interested in joining a growing company at an early stage

Contract and earning potential

This is a rolling monthly contractor position with flexible, remote working.

  • £1,250 monthly contractor fee
  • Uncapped commission
  • 20% commission on new business
  • 10% commission on subsequent client revenue for 12 months

Commission is paid on qualifying revenue received by Cazimi.

The structure is designed to reward performance properly. Someone who consistently generates high-quality business should have the opportunity to earn significantly more than the monthly contractor fee.

Why Cazimi?

Cazimi is at an early stage, which means this role comes with genuine influence.

You will work directly with the Founder, have significant autonomy over how you develop opportunities and be able to see the direct impact of the business you generate.

We are looking for somebody who wants to help build the commercial side of a growing company, rather than simply step into an existing sales process.

As Cazimi grows, we want this role to grow with it.
