Business Development Executive - On Trade

Join Powerforce as a Business Development Executive (On Trade), working directly to support publication distribution and sales.
Full Time, Permanent Role
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
- Bonus Opportunity: 20% target bonus
- Company Car in lieu of expenses
- Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hrs/week)
- Territory: Bristol, South Wales, Exeter, and surrounding areas
Role & Responsibilities
You will take ownership of your defined territory, driving distribution, sales, and visibility for Molson Coors brands across leased and tenanted pubs and bars, helping customers grow their business while achieving channel objectives.
Sales & Distribution (Key Duties)
- Execute against Molson Coors brand objectives and contribute to sales targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with pub operators and decision-makers to secure long-term growth opportunities.
- Plan, sell, and negotiate distribution opportunities for draught products (both with existing and new customers).
- Use category-led selling to secure high-profit installations and customer-first solutions.
- Maximise brand visibility through route-to-market programmes, new product launches, and activations.

Insight-Driven Territory Management
- Develop and execute a customer contact strategy, booking meetings and maintaining a sales pipeline.
- Accurately capture customer and sales data to inform reporting, future planning, and strategic goals.
- Analyse territory performance and adjust strategies to optimise profits.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate is:
- Field sales experience (preferably in the UK On Trade sector).
- A confident, engaging communicator passionate about building meaningful relationships.
- Commercially driven, able to translate data into persuasive customer conversations.
- Organised, self-motivated, and adept at territory planning.
- Comfortable using sales technology and CRM tools.
- Experience with category-based selling techniques is advantageous.
Must Haves
- Valid full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
- A strong desire to build a successful career in field sales and hospitality.
