Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 + Commission OTE extra £30,000

We're currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a market-leading software business. This is a high-impact role focused on driving new business and growing revenue within existing accounts, using a consultative, value-led sales approach.

  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
  • Commission OTE £30,000

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Executive

  • Drive new business acquisition while expanding revenue across existing customer accounts
  • Identify, engage, and influence key decision-makers within target organisations
  • Deliver engaging, value-based demonstrations that clearly articulate return on investment
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
  • Build, manage, and progress a strong sales pipeline
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and activity records
  • Stay up to date with product developments, market trends, and competitor activity
