Overview

Are you ready to grow your career in sales and make a difference in the Social Housing sector? At Gallagher, we’re looking for a Sales Development Executive to join our Housing Division in Chelmsford. This is your chance to help drive new business growth and build strong relationships with Housing Associations across the UK. You’ll be part of a supportive team passionate about delivering tailored insurance solutions.


How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work on identifying and developing new business opportunities with Housing providers.
  • Help clients understand their insurance needs and deliver custom solutions that work for them.
  • Play a key role in preparing tender submissions and presentations, showcasing Gallagher’s expertise and commitment to the Social Housing sector.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You’ll partner closely with colleagues across Broking, Placement, and Marketing to ensure we deliver the best possible service. By building strong relationships with clients and partners, you’ll help us maintain our reputation as a trusted industry advisor.

About You

This role is for you if you bring:

  • Experience in sales or business development, ideally in insurance, risk management, or the Housing/public sector.
  • A good understanding of tender processes and social housing risk profiles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for building long-term client relationships.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and advance in your career.
