Business Development Executive – On Trade

Role Overview
Position: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £28k - £30k per annum Bonus Potential: 20% opportunity Company Car: Included Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs/week Area: Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Chester & surrounding regions
We’re seeking an ambitious, commercially minded individual to join our On Trade field sales team, representing the Molson Coors draught portfolio.
Responsibilities
You’ll take ownership of your territory, focusing on:

Distribution & Sales Growth:
- Drive the distribution and visibility of Molson Coors brands across licensed and tenanted premises.
- Build strong relationships with pub operators and decision-makers to achieve long-term growth aligned with the channel strategy.

Product & Strategic Sales:
- Plan, sell, and negotiate new/creating distribution opportunities across both existing and new outlets.
- Apply a category-led sales approach to demonstrate value, secure high installation rates and deliver bespoke customer solutions.
- Maximise brand visibility through new product launches, activations and route-to-market programmes.

- Territory & Data Management:
- Develop and execute customer contact strategy, booking meetings and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Capture and analyse outlet data to support reporting, planning and optimisation.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
- Industry background: Field sales experience, preferably in the UK On Trade sector.
- Relational drive: Confident, engaging communicator with a passion for relationship-building.
- Commercial acumen: Ability to translate insights into value-led sales conversations.
- Organisational skills: Self-motivated, with strong planning and data ANalytical abilities.
- Commercial experience: Proficiency in category-based selling techniques is advantageous.
Must-haves for all Business Development Executives: ✔ Full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months’ tenure). ✔ A passion for hospitality and career progression in field sales.
