We're looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our growing team at Thurra.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, building long-term partnerships and turning opportunities into successful business relationships. Working alongside our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth across both broker and direct sales channels.

What you'll be doing
As our Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities while developing strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries and clients.
You'll:
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities from first contact through to closing the deal.
- Build strong relationships with brokers and clients, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Present Thurra's services confidently, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs.
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound enquiries to maximise conversion.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations and Client Services to deliver an exceptional customer journey.
- Keep our CRM up to date with accurate sales activity, forecasting and pipeline management.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines strong sales ability with excellent relationship-building skills.
You'll ideally have:
- A proven track record in sales or business development, with experience generating new business.
- A history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM systems effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- The confidence to build relationships with clients, brokers and key stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to spot and develop opportunities.
- A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience working with brokers, intermediaries or partner networks.
- Experience in a target-driven or high-growth sales environment.
- Knowledge of pricing, commercial negotiations and sales reporting.
- A business, sales or marketing qualification.
