Business Development Executive

Northwich - Office based initially with flex of hybrid

Up to £30,000 + Commission + Progression + Great Benefits

The Opportunity:

Get Recruited are recruiting exclusively on behalf of a manufacturer, supplying high-quality, bespoke solutions to customers across the globe. You'll take ownership of generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity, helping to expand the company's customer base both within the UK and internationally.

This isn't an account management role, it's for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and creating opportunities. The possibilities are significant. You'll have the freedom to shape the role and grow your career alongside the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone from a Business Development Representative, BDR, SDR, Sales Development Representative, Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, New Business focused role.

The Role:

  • Proactively generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers across a variety of industries and international markets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Learn and develop an in-depth understanding of products and solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements can be met.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and identify future sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity within the CRM system.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.

The Person:

  • We're looking for someone with drive, resilience, and a genuine passion for winning new business.
  • Has previous experience in a business development, sales, or lead generation role.
  • Thrives on outbound prospecting and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Is a self-starter who can work independently and manage their own workload.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Is commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Learns quickly and enjoys becoming an expert in technical products.
  • Is ambitious and wants to build a long-term career within a growing business.
  • Has strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.
