Business Development Executive
B2B Sales Executive – Construction Sector (Desk-Based)
Pay: £60,000–£70,000 per year (including commission potential)
Location: Belfast (Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 remote days)
Salary: £60k+ (cul. UK: Year 1 OTE £60k; Year 2 £70k–£80k); uncapped commission & base salary
The Opportunity
A dynamic role to drive growth of our tech platform for UK construction businesses, helping them win new projects and increase sales pipelines. This is not a transactional sales environment—it’s a consultative, insight-led position that builds long-term partnerships.

Your Responsibilities
- Generate and close new B2B business, specialising in mid-to-enterprise accounts
- Lead consultative sales conversations at all levels (C-level, senior decision-makers, technical leads)
- Identify commercial drivers and tailor solutions for:
- Visibility
- Compliance
- Specification outcomes
- Educate clients on how our product increases their sales
- Sell high-value solutions addressing:
- Visibility gaps
- Technical needs
- Manage a robust pipeline, ensuring:
- Deal control
- Momentum
- Accuracy in forecasting
- Collaborate internally to develop custom demos, messaging, and tailored solutions
- Build brand credibility & industry presence through:
- Representing the company at events
- Networking with key stakeholders

About You
- Proven experience in consultative B2B sales (desk-based)
- Strong closing ability in complex sales cycles
- Skilled at:
- Engaging senior decision-makers & technical influencers
- Uncovering & articulating commercial value
- Self-driven, organised, and accountable for results
- CRM experience preferred (HubSpot advantage)
