Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet company growth targets.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal negotiations to secure new contracts.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to position the company competitively.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to align business objectives and solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline forecasts, and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Drive improvements in customer satisfaction and retention through feedback analysis and service reviews.
- Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management on a regular basis.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and commercial models in alignment with market expectations and company profitability.
- Mentor and support junior team members in best practices for business development and client management.

Essential Experience
- 3–5 years of proven experience in a business development, sales, or client relationship management role.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, including proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and expanding client portfolios.
- Experience in working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Experience
- Experience in the IT, consulting, or SaaS industry is highly desirable.
- Prior knowledge of solution selling or consultative sales approach.
- Understanding of contract structuring and proposal development.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and lead generation strategies.
- Experience with international business development is a plus.
- Knowledge of bid and tender management processes.

Education Level / Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
