Role Overview

Support Synexa's growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities within target markets. Working closely with the Business Development, Scientific Strategies, and Marketing teams, you will execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns, generate sales-qualified opportunities, and help build a strong commercial pipeline for Synexa's scientific services.

This role acts as the first point of contact for many prospective clients, combining scientific understanding with commercial acumen to identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and transition them effectively to the Business Development team for further development. The role will also support the coordination of Requests for Information (RFIs), maintain accurate CRM records, and contribute to the efficient operation of Synexa's commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting and market research.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients across Synexa's target markets.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to assess customer needs, project scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Convert qualified prospects into sales-qualified opportunities and hand over to the Business Development team.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries and support lead qualification activities.
  • Coordinate RFI responses and support proposal development with scientific and commercial teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline data, and customer interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development, Scientific Strategies, and Marketing teams to achieve pipeline generation objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
