We are seeking a dynamic, relentless Business Development Executive to drive new business, build strategic relationships, and champion market-leading Anti-Money Laundering (AML) technology. Join a fast-growing, collaborative team shaping the future of compliance.

📍 Location: Onsite, Cardiff
Varied Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Management:
- Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with key decision-makers, partners, compliance leaders, and influencers.
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor.

Proactive Prospecting:
- Generate 30+ targeted cold calls per day—coupled with networking and strategic prospecting.
- Leverage incoming enquiries while hunting new opportunities.

Expert Product Advocacy:
- Master AML and IDV solutions and confidently articulate their commercial and regulatory value.
- Clearly communicate how our solutions address evolving compliance challenges.

Consultative New Business Approach:
- Adopt a teams selling methodology—identify client pain points and align solutions with their regulatory and operational needs.
- Deliver tailored proposals driving measurable value.

Market & Competitive Awareness:
- Stay informed on industry trends, AML legislation, and competitor activity to position us ahead.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with marketing, product, and customer success teams for cohesive go-to-market strategies, campaign follow-ups, and seamless onboarding.

Pipeline & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate CRM updates and forecasting.
- Generate and submit regular sales reports, pipeline activity, and performance insights to senior leadership.

Target-Driven Performance:
- Act as a new business hunter, taking full ownership of monthly/quarterly revenue goals and exceeding targets.
Key Requirements
✅ Proven Sales Success:
- 2+ years in target-driven sales, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue and new business goals.
✅ Industry Insight (Advantageous but not mandatory):
- Knowledge of AML regulations and Identity Verification (IDV)—particularly within legal or regulated sectors.
✅ Exceptional Communication:
- Outstanding verbal and written pitching skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver persuasive, value-led presentations and technical demonstrations.
✅ Driven & Resilient:
- Self-motivated, independent, and collaborative in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Thrives on ownership, determination, and adaptability.
