Could you build the qualified sales pipeline needed to help a fast-growing pharmaceutical SaaS and market access technology business move beyond $10m ARR?

CN Sales Recruitment is working exclusively with a global pricing and market access technology company that combines digital solutions with specialist consultancy services. Employing approximately 110 people globally, including more than 40 in the UK, the business currently generates around $8.5m ARR and aims to exceed $10m by its July year-end. Continued growth and expansion of its international sales function have created an opportunity for a Business Development Associate to support its Business Development Managers with new customer acquisition.

You will research target accounts, identify decision-makers and engage prospective customers through LinkedIn, email, telephone, social selling and other creative digital channels. Your goal will be to generate qualified opportunities, nurture longer-term relationships and build a strong pipeline that supports ambitious revenue targets. You will engage market access, pricing and reimbursement professionals within major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across EMEA and North America. Alongside booking meetings and product demonstrations, you will qualify customer needs, maintain accurate HubSpot records and provide the wider sales team with valuable market and prospect intelligence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the confidence to use a structured, multi-touch approach to prospecting and lead generation.
