Business Development Executive

We are seeking a driven, motivated, and proactive Business Development Executive to join our growing team.

Main Purpose Of The Role

To identify and engage with prospects, seeking new opportunities and building long term client relationships, through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, and online research. You will be responsible for opening conversations, understanding client requirements, and qualifying opportunities.

Office Located: Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (negotiable)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (negotiable)

Phone and laptop provided, and pension scheme enrolment is available.

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Previous 1 years successful experience in BD / telemarketing in a similar industry.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft 365 and other IT platforms such as Pipedrive.
  • Full Driving License

Main Areas Of Responsibility

  • Researching key prospects and contacts through a range of methods.
  • Telemarketing & outbound cold calling.
  • Booking introductory meetings for the BD & Sales Team.
  • Keeping all communications accurately updated on Pipedrive.
  • Seeking opportunities to quote, through clear project qualification and assessment.
  • Networking alongside the BD and Sales Team.
  • Weekly reporting to the Sales Director.

The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may evolve to include additional duties as required in conjunction with the Sales Director reviews.
