Business Development Executive
Business Development Executive – Consultancy Position (Birmingham City Centre)
Express Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a fast-growing consultancy in Birmingham City Centre, seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to expand their team.
An outstanding opportunity exists for a target-driven professional who excels in relationship-building, client engagement, and thriving in a dynamic sales environment.
Key Information
- Salary: Base of £28,000 with a highly competitive commission structure, offering an OTE of £50,000+
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (on-site 3 days, hybrid 2 days)
- Location: Birmingham City Centre
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively engaging with prospective business clients via telephone outreach
- Managing inbound enquiries while promoting company services
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring consistent communication
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Record-keeping of sales activities and customer interactions
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service

Requirements
- Previous sales or target-driven experience preferred (essential)
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- excellent organisation and time-management skills
