About Us

Founded in 2014 by a team of experienced sports marketing professionals, Sportgate International is a sporting and event management company based in Southwest London. We are an established events rightsholder and consultant to world-class venues, luxury brands, tourism boards, and rightsholders requiring event management and sponsorship delivery expertise.

We own and run Chestertons Polo in the Park, the world's biggest 3-day Polo and Lifestyle Festival, and we're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic salesperson to join our tight-knit team and help drive it forward.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director & Head of Sales, you'll be at the front line of driving ticket and hospitality sales for Chestertons Polo in the Park - speaking directly with consumers and corporate clients, opening new business, and helping the wider sales team convert opportunities into revenue.

This is a genuine entry point into the events industry, with hands-on exposure to sales, CRM, client relationship management, and event delivery - and a clear path to grow into a more senior sales role as you develop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Promoting Chestertons Polo in the Park to consumers and corporates to drive ticket and hospitality sales
  • Working through provided data to understand customer needs and match them to the right package
  • Proactively sourcing and developing new business leads to hit agreed monthly and quarterly targets
  • Booking qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Helping maintain and improve our CRM system and database, keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Contributing to a small, high-energy team where everyone pitches in beyond their core remit

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
