Business Development Executive
📍 West Midlands 💰 £35,000 basic + £35,000–£45,000 OTE (uncapped)
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a growing company within the shipping and logistics sector.
This is a full sales-cycle role where you’ll have real ownership of your pipeline—from prospecting through to closing and account development.
If you’re confident, driven, and enjoy being out meeting clients rather than sitting behind a desk, this is a great opportunity to build a highly rewarding career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and ongoing account management Identify and win new business opportunities within the assigned territory Conduct face-to-face client meetings across the West Midlands Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers Understand client logistics needs and present tailored solutions Work towards and exceed KPI and revenue targets Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and sales forecasts

What We’re Looking For
Confident, personable, and professional communicator Motivated by targets, incentives, and career progression Ability to work independently and manage your own territory Experience working towards KPIs or targets (sales or non-sales backgrounds considered) Full UK driving licence (essential) A proactive and resilient mindset with a strong work ethic
