Business Development Executive (BDE)

💰 £50,000–£70,000 OTE (in year one) | Uncapped commission

What You’ll Do in This Role

  • Drive high-energy new business sales, including cold prospecting, multi-channel outreach, and pitching to senior decision-makers.
  • Sell innovative, AI-powered digital media solutions developed in-house.
  • Build strong relationships with Higher Education sector leaders.
  • Learn and practice discovery-led sales techniques, backed by 1:1 coaching and superior training.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Identify and pitch to high-value prospects in the Higher Education sector. ✅ Develop lasting client relationships, exceeding targets through strategic outbound campaigns. ✅ Lead a data-driven commercial approach, leveraging sales techniques to accelerate revenue growth. ✅ Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions aligned with client needs.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Criteria:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment (primarily outbound or B2B preferred).
  • Proven track record in multichannel prospecting (email, LinkedIn, phone, etc.).
  • A confident and results-driven communicator with a strong sales mindset.
  • Ability to work to goals, coachable, and hungry for long-term career growth.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in Higher Education or digital media sales (not mandatory).
  • A competitive, data-savvy attitude with a bias for action.
