Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our client’s sales team, working across two flagship brands.
Ideal for career growth: This opportunity provides a gateway into sales, with a focus on:
- Generating new business opportunities through outbound activities (phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach)
- Identifying and qualifying potential exhibitors and sponsors
- Passing high-quality leads to the wider sales team for deal closure

Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls and emails to prospective exhibitors and sponsors
- Generate and qualify new business leads for the sales team
- Research potential commercial opportunities within target companies
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects using the CRM system
- Coordinate bookings for meetings and appointments with senior sales reps
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support:
- Campaign activities
- Exhibitor delivery
- Attend industry events when required for networking and lead generation
Profile Required
- Degree-educated (ideal)
- Strong communication skills—friendly, professional, confident phone manner
- Comfortable conducting outbound sales calls
- Positive, resilient, and self-motivated mindset
- Eagerness to develop a career in sales
- Target-driven and results-focused
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience in customer service, telesales, or sales
- Interest in media/events advantageous
- Growth mindset with ambition to meet KPIs
