About the Company

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team at QBS. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in software or IT sales who wants to work with leading technology vendors, develop strategic partnerships, and play a key role in driving business growth.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence for a portfolio of allocated software products. You will work closely with customers, resellers, system houses, publishers, and internal teams to identify opportunities, deliver value-led solutions, and achieve ambitious sales targets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, understands the sales cycle, and is confident discussing technology solutions with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
What You'll be Doing
- Driving sales growth across allocated software products and vendor portfolios
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, resellers, and partners
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and account development through to closing and processing orders
- Identifying new business opportunities through market research and industry awareness
- Developing a strong understanding of products and communicating their value effectively
- Working collaboratively with marketing and internal teams to execute sales campaigns and strategies
- Delivering product training and support to partners and colleagues
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting on pipeline activity, forecasts, and KPIs
- Acting quickly and professionally in responding to customer and partner enquiries

Qualifications
- Previous experience in software, IT, or technology sales
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven attitude
- Confidence in understanding and presenting technical product features and business benefits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of the complete sales process and customer journey

Pay range and compensation package
- The Salary for this position is £28,000 - £40,000 (OTE)
