Break Into Business Development — With Real Experience
Looking to start a career in sales but want real exposure, not just admin tasks?
Sentrex Services UK Ltd is a growing national provider of contract cleaning and facilities management services. We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Manchester Head Office.
This is a genuine entry-level route into Business Development, where you’ll work on live enquiries, real opportunities, and revenue-generating activity — building towards a Business Development Manager role.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, and senior management, learning how deals are won from enquiry through to delivery.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, office-based role supporting the early stages of the sales process.
You will:
- Handle and qualify inbound enquiries
- Support pricing, quotes, and proposals
- Coordinate live jobs and client communication
- Help move opportunities through to conversion
A key part of the role is working on subcontractor-led jobs, giving you hands-on experience of how work is:
- Priced
- Managed
- Delivered
This is not a back-office position — you’ll be directly involved in real clients, real jobs, and real commercial decisions.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
