Business Development Executive - Commercial Buildings
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Commission (OTE £50K–£80K+)
Location: London
Job Description:
Focus Media UK is growing its commercial buildings network in London, and we’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is about opening doors — literally and commercially. You’ll be speaking with landlords, building owners, property managers, asset managers and commercial building operators to secure new locations for our digital advertising screens.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying and approaching commercial buildings across London
- Building relationships with landlords, freeholders, managing agents and property managers
- Presenting Focus Media UK’s digital screen proposition
- Negotiating commercial terms and securing signed agreements
- Working with internal teams to help move signed buildings towards installation and go-live
- Managing your own pipeline and keeping records up to date
- Meeting quarterly and annual business development targets

What we’re looking for:
- 2 - 3 years experience in business development, sales, partnerships, property, media, advertising or a related field ( ex: CBRE Group, JLL(Jones Lang LaSalle), Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers International, Savills or similar)
- Confident communicator who is comfortable approaching new contacts
- Strong negotiation and follow-up skills
- Commercial mindset and ability to understand deal structures
- Organised, proactive and target-driven
- Comfortable working independently as well as with internal teams
- Right to work in the UK

Nice to have:
- Experience working with landlords, managing agents, commercial buildings or property companies
- Knowledge of London’s commercial property market
- Background in media, advertising, digital signage or out-of-home advertising
