Business Development Executive – Telecoms & IT Managed Services Sales
Based Hertfordshire
£40k-£50k Basic, £76k-£86k OTE Uncapped
Our client are an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) & Telecoms Reseller delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that enable businesses to thrive. They specialise in Microsoft, Acronis, and Sophos products and offer a full communications portfolio, helping organisations to stay secure and productive in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive new customer acquisition and expand their footprint across a variety of industries.
About the Role
As a Business Development Executive, your mission is simply to win new business. You’ll identify, engage, and convert prospects into long-term clients by selling a portfolio of IT managed services and solutions with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 & Azure, Acronis backup & disaster recovery, and Sophos cybersecurity offerings.

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SME and mid-market sectors.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Tailor solutions based on client needs and challenges.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B business development sales, ideally within IT managed services or technology solutions.
- Experience in selling Microsoft, Acronis, Sophos or similar products.
- Strong understanding of cloud, backup, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Proven track record in achieving, and over-achieving, your sales targets.
