Summary

We are looking for a confident and commercially minded B2B Telemarketing / Lead Generation Executive to support our sales lead with outbound calling activity, list building, list cleansing and creating organisational charts based on desk research.

Daily, you will be working through a list of organisations making professional outbound calls, asking a set of clear qualifying questions using a pre-prepared script, recording accurate information, and following a defined process based on the outcome of each conversation. The list is not fully formed so part of your day will also be spent researching, and building your list for the next day. With this in mind, a good working understanding of list research and list building will be critical to your success.

The role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys speaking to people on the telephone, is comfortable making outbound calls, asking questions, building networks and documenting their findings, and has the diligence, resilience and attention to detail needed to work through a structured sales process properly. This is not a loose or unstructured sales role. We need someone who can follow a process, think logically, communicate clearly and represent the business professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Making outbound calls to businesses from a provided contact list.
  • Organically build call lists based on desk research using our in-house industry databases, LinkedIn and other search engines.
  • Speaking professionally with decision makers, influencers and gatekeepers.
  • Using a pre-prepared script to ask basic qualifying questions.
  • Recording call outcomes and relevant information accurately.
  • Following a clear next-step process based on the information gathered.
  • Identifying potential sales opportunities for the sales lead to progress.
  • Booking appointments, follow-up calls or passing qualified information to the sales lead where appropriate.
  • Updating the CRM, spreadsheet or call tracking system with accurate notes.
  • Managing call-backs and follow-up activity diligently.
  • Working through daily targets and activity expectations.
  • Communicating clearly with the sales lead and wider team.
  • Raising any useful market feedback, objections or common responses heard during calls.
  • Maintaining a professional, persistent and positive approach throughout the day.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
