The Role
Are you looking for a sales career in the technology sector? This is a rare opportunity for a self-motivated and results-orientated candidate with a natural sales ability to launch a career in the technology sector.
No previous technology experience necessary!
We are seeking an energetic Business Development Executive to join our UK Sales team. We are a multi-award-winning IT support provider with offices in London, Kent and Auckland. We empower ambitious organisations with modern ways of working by helping them harness the power of the Microsoft Cloud.
The Business Development Executive is responsible for telling our story to prospects via outbound phone calls. The objective is to achieve a steady flow of First Time Appointments (FTAs) for the Outside Sales team.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver the Virtuoso message to prospective customers
- Contacting potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings
- An excellent communicator on the phone, positive and enthusiastic at all times
- Work through a daily list of phone calls to suspects and prospects
- Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with suspects and prospects
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads
- Researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential new client leads and organisations within our target market
- Manage the sales CRM database by keeping all relevant suspect and prospect information up to date
- Utilise social media platforms to drive new leads, connections, and meetings
- Collaborating with the Business Development Manager and Marketing team to identify more effective marketing strategies
- From time to time attend business events to learn more about the industry and network with other professionals and potential clients

Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated track record of achieving goals and objectives
- Strong phone presence and experience dialling numerous calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Experience working with CRM databases
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Relationship management skills

Location/Travel

Hours
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)
