Role Description

This is a full-time Business Development Executive role based in Glasgow with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing some work from home. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and building a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and lead generation. The Business Development Executive will nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate with internal teams to shape solutions that address customer needs. Qualifications

  • Skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation: Including prospecting, pipeline building, and converting opportunities into long-term clients.
  • Skills in Business and Account Management: Including managing client relationships, understanding commercial drivers, and supporting customer retention and growth.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and confident client-facing interaction.
  • Experience in B2B software, ERP, or SaaS sales, preferably within Foodservice, Wholesale, or related sectors, is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and comfort working with sales targets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with on-site and remote colleagues; familiarity with CRM tools and standard office software is an advantage.
  • A relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
