Business Development Executive - Workplace/Office
Location: Lancashire
Salary: £38k + Company Car, 20% Bonus + Company Benefits
About the Role
Build relationships. Win new business. Grow your territory.
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Business Development Executive to join a market-leading consumer brand and help drive growth across the 'workplace/office sector that sits in their On-Trade Channel in the Lancashire patch.
If you're someone who enjoys meeting new people, opening doors, negotiating with business owners and seeing the direct impact of your work, this is an opportunity to take ownership of your own territory and make a real difference.
You'll spend your time out in the field building relationships with major office groups, fulfillment centres, large or small based in Lancashire, identifying new opportunities and helping customers grow their businesses through innovative products and outstanding support.

What you'll be doing
- Developing and managing your own sales territory.
- Winning new business across your given channel.
- Building long-term relationships with owners and decision-makers.
- Identifying commercial opportunities to increase distribution and sales.
- Planning your territory to maximize customer visits and business growth.
- Working closely with national account teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Ensuring products are highly visible and effectively promoted within customer venues.
- Acting as a trusted business partner, providing advice and commercial insight that adds value for customers.
Who we're looking for
You'll be someone who:
- Loves meeting new people and building relationships.
- Lives in Lancashire or very close to.
- Has previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality or customer-facing roles.
- Is naturally proactive and enjoys winning new business.
- Has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Thinks commercially and enjoys solving problems.
- Can manage their own time and territory effectively.
- Is self-motivated, resilient and driven by achieving results.
