Business Development Executive

£40,000 Basic | OTE £60k–£65k (Uncapped)

Our client is a fast-growing organisation that specialises in supporting families through the complexities of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding. They are now looking for ambitious, empathetic, and resilient sales advisors to join their expanding New Enquiries team.

The Opportunity

  • Take inbound calls (typically 30–60 minutes) and provide empathetic follow-up conversations where needed
  • Lead prospective clients through a clear and structured assessment process, highlighting eligibility and outlining next steps
  • Confidently explain the service, entitlement criteria, and overall value
  • Process fixed-fee payments over the phone (non-refundable model)
  • Work to a 9-day sales cycle with monthly commission incentives
  • Consistently deliver 25+ deals per month

What You’ll Need

  • Background in telesales, recruitment, or other consultative B2B/B2C sales
  • Engaging and articulate communication style – able to build rapport quickly
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to listen carefully to uncover concerns
  • Strong resilience to succeed in a high-volume, emotionally sensitive role
  • Quick to learn, structured in approach, and results-driven
  • Prior experience in energy, telecoms, recruitment, or healthcare sales advantageous

What’s in It for You

  • £40,000 base salary
  • Uncapped commission – realistic OTE £60k–£65k
  • Initial 6–8 weeks based in Barnstaple (travel and accommodation provided)
  • Monday to Friday schedule:
    • Standard shift: 9:00–5:15 (1-hour lunch)
    • One late shift each week: 10:00–7:00
  • Some shared bank holiday cover
