Role Description

This is a full-time role based in our Leeds office for a Business Development Executive/Account Manager. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing lead generation activities, and building a strong pipeline through calls, meetings, and networking. The Business Development Executive/Account Manager will manage existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth by understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions across telecommunications and IT services. Day-to-day tasks include preparing proposals, presenting solutions, negotiating agreements, updating CRM records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The role also includes monitoring market trends and competitor activity to support strategic sales planning and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to build and manage a sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Strong Account Management and Business skills to maintain relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and support long-term client success.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident client-facing presentation abilities.
  • Experience in B2B sales within telecommunications, IT services, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, videoconferencing platforms).
  • Proactive, results-focused mindset with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and professionally represent the company on-site and at client meetings.
  • Relevant education or training in business, sales, or a related field is advantageous.
