Business Development Executives – Three Opportunities Available
Central Scotland | North East England | South of England
We're currently recruiting three Business Development Executives for a well-established and growing food ingredients business, with opportunities available across Central Scotland, the North East of England and the South of England.
If you enjoy being out in the field, building genuine customer relationships and having the freedom to manage your own territory, I'd be really interested in speaking with you.
These are field-based roles where you'll be responsible for developing sales across your own region, working closely with independent butchers, farm shops, rural producers and other independent food businesses. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the balance of winning new business whilst also growing existing customer relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
