About Company
o2h discovery is a multi-award-winning integrated drug discovery Contract Research Organisation (CRO), headquartered at The Mill SciTech Park, Cambridge, UK, with a world-class research centre in Ahmedabad, India, with over 800+ scientists across synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry, in vitro biology, DMPK, ADME, PK studies, peptide synthesis, and IND-enabling capabilities.
Founded in 2005 and part of the o2h group, our DNA is centered on seeding new ideas in life science and technology — co-investing, co-creating, and co-executing with our partners. Alongside o2h Ventures (early-stage life science investment) and o2h co-work labs (Cambridge incubation hub), we offer a uniquely integrated innovation ecosystem spanning discovery, capital, and incubation.
Our key markets — UK, Europe, and the United States — represent a rapidly growing share of our discovery revenues, with strong momentum across both US coasts and major European biotech clusters. As part of our next phase of growth, we are expanding our commercial footprint across these regions, building a new generation of scientist-led business development talent to accelerate client partnerships and programme delivery globally.
About the Role We are looking to hire three Business Development Executives across the UK/Europe, designed for candidates ready to transition or have already transitioned from the lab into a commercially impactful role without stepping away from science. This is a scientist-first BD role, where your technical expertise remains central to every client interaction and decision.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
