About Blackmont Consulting

Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organisation that supports startups, NGOs, and businesses through research, strategic analysis, and consulting services. We work with distributed teams across multiple regions, delivering meaningful projects while providing students and graduates with valuable professional experience.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our project acquisition efforts within the APAC region. This role is ideal for individuals interested in consulting, business development, market research, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential consulting projects and business opportunities.
  • Identify organisations that could benefit from Blackmont Consulting's services.
  • Build a strong understanding of Blackmont Consulting's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Conduct professional outreach to potential clients, primarily through email.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and help build relationships.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for potential clients.
  • Analyse organisations to assess strategic fit and project opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to help secure consulting projects.

Requirements

  • Must be currently based in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and proactive.
  • Comfortable with client outreach and relationship building.
  • Interest in consulting, business development, sales, or market research.
