Business Development Intern

Please note this role is non-remunerated and open to students or recent graduates.

Role: Business Development Intern

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 5-6 hours per week.

Eligibility: Currently enrolled students or recent graduates

About Us

Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organization supporting project teams through structured research, analysis, and business development activities. We work with distributed teams on defined consulting projects.

We are recruiting a Business Development Intern to support project sourcing and client research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Project Search: Identify and research potential projects for Blackmont Consulting.
  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of Blackmont Consulting's capabilities and offerings.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and close deals to bring impactful projects to Blackmont.
  • Presentation Preparation: Prepare compelling presentations to showcase Blackmont Consulting's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Organizational Analysis: Analyse potential client organizations to assess compatibility and strategic fit.

Requirements

  • Currently taking a bachelor's or master's degree or be a recent graduate.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to deal sourcing and project identification.
  • Familiarity with the consulting industry and market trends.
  • Must be based in Manchester
