Business Development Lead

Business Development Lead (London) – Permanent (Monday to Friday)

About The Harley Street Clinic

Location: Onsite at The Harley Street Clinic, Princess Grace Hospital and Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC), part of the HCA Healthcare UK London campus Salary: Competitive with a performance-based incentive bonus scheme

We’re seeking a driven, goal-oriented, and influential Business Development Lead to act as the primary liaison between consultants and HCA Healthcare facilities. Your role will span referral development, consultant recruitment, and relationship management to drive growth and retain existing partnerships.

At HCA UK, we put the care and improvement of human life at the heart of everything we do. This role isn’t just about business—it’s about supporting consultants, expanding vital healthcare services, and contributing to a legacy of high-quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO, Hospital Executive team, and Head of Business Development to analyse consultant referral patterns and market trends, identifying growth opportunities.
  • Develop strategies for consultant recruitment and relationship retention, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s service expansion goals.
  • Maintain relationships with all consultants—recruited and existing—supporting their integration into HCA’s network and ensuring they receive customer support, professional development, and updates on service enhancements.
  • Monitor and manage consultant agreements, liaising with Legal, Finance, and Contracts Departments to ensure compliance.
  • Track market intelligence and consultant activity via CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or reporting tools, prioritising outreach efforts.
  • Demonstrate flexibility—the role may occasionally require unsocial hours to accommodate consultant schedules.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
