Business Development Lead
Join Our Dynamic Team: Business Development Lead (UK Market) — Lalamove

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-energy team where you’ll:
- Identify and capture new business opportunities to fuel revenue growth.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with UK-based companies and local stakeholders.
- Drive data-driven strategies to outperform competitors and strengthen Lalamove’s market position.
Responsibilities
- Capture business opportunities: Maintain a strong pipeline by identifying and exploring new revenue streams, aligning efforts with broader sales strategy.
- Lead high-impact projects: Monitor campaigns and deals to ensure results and financial success.
- Master contract negotiations: Forge strong, mutually beneficial partnerships that position Lalamove as the preferred delivery provider.
- Present with authority: Create and deliver professional presentations, quotations, and bids (including RFQs and RFPs).
- Analyse and act: Prepare data reports and strategic insights for internal stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of trends: Track evolving market dynamics to advise Lalamove’s go-to-market approach.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need:

Education & Experience Formal degree (equivalent) with minimum 3 years in:
- Sales
- Business development
- Account management Preference for candidates with logistics experience.

Achievable Track Record
- Proven ability to hit sales targets, fuel growth, and negotiate favorable agreements.
- Track record of designing and executing successful strategies in sales.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint): Leverage data insights and visual offerings for impact.
- Comfort with project tools to manage KPIs and revenue forecasts.
