Help shape the next stage of apprenticeship growth with commercial clients.
Cognition Evolve is growing its apprenticeship offer and we are looking for an ambitious Employer Engagement Partner to help build relationships with commercial clients. Initially, the role will focus on creating high-quality Business Administrator apprenticeship opportunities, with a clear remit to support the future development of wider business and digital pathways.
This is an exciting opportunity to join at an early stage as we expand our apprenticeship provision nationally. The role will focus on developing employer relationships across commercial sectors, including:
- Commercial employers seeking to build business administration capability, improve operational effectiveness, support early-career talent and create progression routes into future digital and technical roles.
- Additional business, customer service, project management and digital pathways may be developed as the service grows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships with commercial employers, opening new opportunities and helping organisations use apprenticeships to attract, develop and retain skilled business support and future digital talent.
This is primarily a new business and growth role focused on generating Business Administrator apprenticeship starts and building a national commercial employer pipeline that can support future pathway growth.
The Role
You will take ownership of developing new relationships with commercial employers, identifying workforce development opportunities and converting interest into apprenticeship starts.
Working alongside recruitment, delivery and apprenticeship colleagues, you will help employers understand business support, administration and digital skills needs, matching apprenticeship solutions that support organisational performance and learner success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
