Business Development Management (International Education)

Location: United Kingdom

Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £41,700 per annum (subject to experience and company policy)

Mirak Global Services UK Ltd is an international education consultancy dedicated to connecting talented students with high-quality educational opportunities in the United Kingdom and other leading study destinations. We work closely with universities, colleges, and education partners to promote international education and support students throughout their study abroad journey.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and commercially focused Business Development Manager (International Education) to lead our UK partnership development, student recruitment strategy, and institutional engagement.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase student recruitment and company growth.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen strategic partnerships with UK universities, colleges, and educational institutions.
  • Identify and secure new partnership opportunities with higher education providers.
  • Represent the company at education exhibitions, university events, networking meetings, and recruitment fairs.
  • Lead negotiations and maintain productive relationships with institutional partners.
  • Provide professional guidance to prospective international students on study options, admissions, and application procedures.
  • Oversee UK sales and marketing activities to increase brand awareness and student enrolment.
  • Monitor recruitment performance and prepare business development reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and recruitment initiatives.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with UK regulations, university partner requirements, and company policies.
  • Support the development of new education products and services that enhance business growth.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Business, Marketing, Management, Education, International Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or international student recruitment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve business development targets.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
