Business Development Manager Field-Based | B2B Sales
Working within our Washrooms Division
Covering the Lancashire area (must be based local to area)
Are you a proven B2B sales professional who thrives on winning new business? At Lyreco, we’re looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify, secure, and grow new business opportunities while developing long-term value within existing accounts. This is a high-impact role for someone who is hungry, credible, and motivated to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create, develop, and execute a territory sales strategy aligned to company objectives
- Identify and secure new B2B business opportunities across diverse sectors
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting
- Upsell and merchandise into existing accounts to drive long-term growth
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers
- Complete and submit competitive tender opportunities
- Maintain accurate reporting (Excel proficiency essential)
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your territory while being supported by a collaborative, high-performing team.
What We’re Looking For
- Recent, demonstrable success in B2B sales
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
- Confident, professional, and credible communicator
- Self-motivated and driven, with ambition to exceed targets
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
- Competent in Excel and structured reporting
- A team player who can also work independently
- Someone who embodies Agility, Respect, Passion, and Excellence
