BAM UK and Ireland is recruiting a Business Development Manager – Integrated Facilities Management to join our FM segment of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join BAM FM and support the delivery of our growth strategy across the UK.
Reporting to the Customer Relations Director you will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. This is a Hybrid position with UK wide travel as and when required.
Making Possible
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new Integrated Facilities Management opportunities across both the public and private sectors. Working closely with our Operational, Commercial and Bid teams, you will develop client-focused solutions, build long-term customer relationships and support opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award. This is a varied role that combines business development with proposal development, client presentations and bid support, requiring a commercially driven individual with a strong understanding of the Facilities Management market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and secure new Integrated Facilities Management opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and client presentations.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions, including executive summaries, solution write-ups and client responses.
- Work collaboratively with Operational, Commercial and Bid teams to develop competitive, customer-focused solutions.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, networking events and industry forums.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and market intelligence.
- Deliver against an agreed annual sales target.

What do you bring to the role?
- Minimum five years' business development experience within the Facilities Management sector.
- Proven track record of securing profitable FM contracts.
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Facilities Management, including Hard and Soft FM services.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
