Role Description

This full-time Business Development Manager role is based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes both office-based and work-from-home days.

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective brand and agency clients
  • Lead the full sales cycle from outreach through contract negotiation and closing
  • Conduct market research
  • Create tailored proposals
  • Deliver presentations and demos of Metapic’s creator commerce platform
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings with client needs
  • Nurture long-term relationships
  • Monitor account performance
  • Work closely with the Brand Partnerships Team to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing satisfaction
  • Regularly report on sales performance and forecasting
  • Participate in strategy discussions

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in business development, outbound prospecting, and pipeline management, ideally within digital marketing, influencer marketing, or SaaS
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and account management skills to engage brand and agency stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Proficiency in sales tools and CRM platforms, with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering persuasive presentations and sales pitches
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Previous experience in creator commerce, affiliate marketing, or performance-driven advertising is highly beneficial
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and adapting to evolving client and market needs
