📍 Where we’re based: Brighton + hybrid (3 days in-office) 💰 Compensation: £32k–£38k base + uncapped commission
About the Role 🚀
We’re growing at speed, and hiring for our Business Development (BDM) team to drive sales and retention across SMEs. Thisynamically evolving role will see you working independently, in a supportive environment, with perceived earnings that only grow when you do.
You’ll join a Collaborative, competitive and results-driven Sales team (8–12 other Business Development Managers) reporting to our Sales Manager. Our team is high-performing, energetic, and you’ll quickly own your loudest voice in the business.
What you’ll do
- Own the full 360-degree sales process: from prospecting and account opening to coaching, check-ins, and retention
- Build and activate power users of our credit card—converted SMEs that will become vocal advocates
- Prospect daily (scaling from call to self-manage accounts over time), targeting the right small businesses with high card spend and credit appetite—fhug an eye on SME cashflow, business needs, and spend categorisation
- Convert high-value contacts with tailored pitches on our credit card, fuelled by research, restraint, and industry benchmarking
- Achieve quarterly targets through activity (30+ cold calls/day!), active coaching, and cross-departmental communication with Team Account Managers, Retail Teams, Credit and Compliance
- Navigate regulatory hurdles—IFA confidence in pitching; structured sales insights for FCA/regulatory compliance

✅ 360-degree business development experience (or demonstrated capability across prospecting and onboarding). ✅ Proven B2B outbound ability – you close tough, tanımlamotivated prospecting and hypertension climate calls daily. ✅ High-performance under pressure – sustainers thrives in standups, and is driven by stretch objectives, urgency. ✅ Accountability holds your managers accountable, business, you. Your targets you set and hit them. ✅ A正直 streak. While steering by compliance (FCA) and high standards—4.8+ star review reason.

Uncapped commission:
- Mean OTE (first year): £50,000+ (not just we say)
- High performers: clear 70,000+ as BDMs, rock contenders for £100k overall
