Business Development Manager Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the growing Debt Advisory team of a leading advisory firm. Working with SME and owner-managed businesses, you'll be responsible for developing new relationships and driving business growth across the region. The role can be based from either the Milton Keynes or Peterborough office, and candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations.

This is a highly commercial role suited to individuals who enjoy originating and converting new business opportunities, while also delivering end-to-end advisory support to clients.

You will play a central role in driving revenue growth, combining internal referral generation with proactive external business development. Working closely with regional teams and professional introducers, you will build a strong pipeline of SME clients requiring funding solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
