Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Remote (UK)
Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission
The Company
We're partnered with an ambitious, fast-growing digital agency that's helping businesses accelerate their growth through innovative digital marketing solutions.
With a strong reputation for delivering measurable results, the agency continues to invest heavily in its people, technology, and commercial growth. As demand for their services increases, they're looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving new business and shaping the next phase of their expansion.
This is an opportunity to join a business where sales is viewed as a genuine strategic function, with clear progression opportunities, defined career pathways, and the autonomy to make a real commercial impact.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating and converting new business opportunities through a combination of inbound enquiries, outbound prospecting, and referral partnerships.
This is a consultative sales role where success comes from understanding client challenges, building trust, and demonstrating how digital marketing can help achieve commercial objectives. You'll own the full sales cycle, from initial discovery through to negotiation and close, while collaborating closely with the wider marketing team to maximise lead generation and conversion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
