Business Development Manager – EdTech
London (1 day per week in the office)
£45,000 - £52,000 basic + OTE
We're partnering with a growing EdTech business looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive new business across the UK education sector. You'll be selling an award-winning learning platform to schools and Multi-Academy Trusts, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
This is a full new business role where you will have the opportunity to play a key role in expanding the company's presence across the UK education sector.
The Role:
- Drive new business growth across schools and Multi-Academy Trusts across the UK.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through to product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and closing deals.
- Develop strong relationships with key education and c-suite stakeholders, navigating complex buying processes across trusts and schools.
- Deliver a consultative sales approach, understanding customer challenges and demonstrating how the platform can improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Accurately manage your pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed new business targets.

About You:
- A proven track record in new business or business development sales.
- Experience selling SaaS or EdTech solutions, into the UK education sector.
- Previous sales experience within schools or MAT's is highly advantageous.
- Comfortable managing consultative, multi-stakeholder sales involving senior decision-makers.
- Passionate about education and motivated by making a positive impact in schools.
- Proactive, self-driven, and resilient, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
