Business Development Manager – Events & Experiential Agency

£60,000 + OTE commission | West London / Hybrid | International travel

Are you an experienced Business Development professional with a strong network across the events, experiential or brand experience space?

This could be an opportunity to join an exciting, international events agency at a pivotal stage of its growth.

The business delivers end-to-end event solutions for ambitious global brands — from strategy and creative development through to production, delivery and international rollout. With an established reputation and an expanding global footprint, they are now investing further in their growth function and are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate their next phase.

Reporting to the VP of Growth, you’ll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships and converting prospects into long-term partnerships. You’ll own the full business development journey — from prospecting and pipeline development through to pitching, negotiation and closing.

This is a role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building genuine senior-level relationships and turning commercial opportunities into meaningful, long-term partnerships.

The opportunity

  • Own and develop a high-quality, sustainable pipeline of new business across the UK and international markets
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with enterprise-level brands and prospective clients
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Lead the full new business process, from initial prospecting through to pitch, negotiation and close
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans to expand the client base and support international growth
  • Lead and collaborate with internal teams on compelling new business pitches and proposals
  • Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns and initiatives that support lead generation and brand awareness
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, upselling and cross-selling
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and developments across the events and experiential landscape
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reporting and commercial insight to the leadership team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
