Business Development Manager – OT Cyber Security (UK) - £80-90k basic + Bonus + Car Etc.
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our OT Cyber Security business across the United Kingdom. This is a high-impact, “run your own business” style role within a global leader in industrial technology and automation.
You will have full ownership of building and scaling a new OT Cyber Security offering focused on critical infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, and utilities sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially sharp professional who thrives on creating market demand, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving both project and recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to establish and expand our OT Cyber Security business line in the UK.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across industrial and critical national infrastructure sectors.
- Lead the full sales cycle — from prospecting to proposal and negotiation — translating complex OT cyber solutions into clear business value.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in manufacturing, energy, and utilities organisations.
- Promote a comprehensive portfolio including cyber assessments, IEC 62443 compliance, network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection, managed security services, and SOC offerings.
- Conduct in-depth customer risk assessments and align solutions with regulatory requirements (NIS/NIS2 and industry standards).
- Collaborate closely with technical and global delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Manage pipeline, forecasts, and CRM data with discipline and accuracy.

What You Bring
- Strong expertise in OT / ICS Cyber Security within industrial environments.
- Deep knowledge of IEC 62443 and NIS/NIS2 frameworks.
- Proven track record in consultative, solution-based selling with a history of revenue generation.
- Excellent ability to engage at both technical and executive levels.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and business development mindset.
- Ability to operate autonomously with an entrepreneurial approach.

Nice to have:
- Background in industrial automation or control systems.
