Company Description
Oval Standard is a bold, independent nicotine pouch brand built from the ground up by people who know this category inside out. We are entering the market at pace, with a sharp product, a clear identity, and an ambitious plan to become one of the most recognised names in the UK nicotine pouch space.
We are not a corporate machine. We are a challenger brand — and that means the people who join us early will shape what we become. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a launch from day one, with the ownership, energy, and earning potential that comes with it.
Role Description
We are recruiting Business Development Manager across East London and Central London.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of Oval Standard in your patch. You will be responsible for winning new accounts, building lasting relationships with retailers and trade partners, and executing flawless in-store presence. You will be trusted to run your territory like your own business — because in many ways, it is.
Your role is territory-exclusive. You will own your patch, manage your own diary, and be accountable for results within it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
